October 31, 2024 Rochester, N.Y. – Partners Ending Homelessness (PEH), Rochester and Monroe County’s Continuum of Care for the Homeless, announces that Connie Sanderson, Executive Director, is retiring from her position next year after nearly eight years at the organization’s helm. Connie has served the homeless population for over three decades. In order to have a smooth transition, the PEH Board of Directors has launched a search for the organization’s next Executive Director.
“Connie served as our first Executive Director, shepherded the community through 7 HUD applications, strategic planning, and branding as PEH, and the development and refinement of our operational processes. She is a dedicated leader who worked tirelessly to build a strong team and champion services to meet the needs of unhoused individuals. Partners Ending Homelessness is the DBA for the Rochester/Monroe County Homeless Continuum of Care (CoC), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that was incorporated in December 2014. It serves as the primary planning and coordinating body for homeless housing and services in Monroe County.
