Catholic Family Center (CFC) is currently able to accept referrals from Organizations to process applications for security deposits for persons who are homeless. Referrals must come from an organization, i.e. – shelters, street outreach programs, community based organizations, that can provide 3rd party documentation of the person’s homelessness. Referring organization should call 232-2050 to talk with the Intake Team about a security deposit. Attached is a checklist that will help you to assist your client with gathering the documents that are needed to process an application.
Please Note: The most important document is a landlord statement from where they plan to move to!! The potential client must have secured an apartment prior to requesting assistance for the security deposit. CFC is not able to assist people with the housing search process.
