Code Blue Ending

Code Blue/Warming Center services will soon be coming to an end for the season. Per Social Service Law 304.1 – Emergency Measures for the Homeless During Inclement Winter Weather, requires Local Departments of Social Services to work with shelter providers to allow individuals experiencing homelessness to come indoors when temperatures are below 32 degrees Fahrenheit including windchill. Typically, Code Blue ends around April 15th.
