The Housing Council at PathStone has launched two new programs. These new programs can provide specialized counseling and education to community members who are experiencing housing insecurity. The Housing Stability Counseling Program https://www.thehousingcouncil.org/hscp will assist with creating an individualized action plan to identify housing goals and next steps. Whether tenants are experiencing landlord-tenant disagreements, facing eviction, a need for improved housing, assistance with finding resources, referrals or other factors, the HSCP program can provide direction and support.
Additionally, The Housing Council at PathStone is offering a new certificate course. Keys to Renting: Unlocking the Door to Your New Home. This 2-hour course will provide guidance and education on your rights and responsibilities, assistance in finding an apartment, fair housing information along with additional community and government resources that you may qualify for. Course topics include identifying housing needs, applying for a property, choosing your new home, tenant’s rights, living in your home, Fair Housing, and ending the lease. The Housing Council at PathStone staff can come to your location and host this free course or you can also visit our class calendar to register for Keys to Renting that are already scheduled. I’ve attached our flier for class, our program flier along with the HSCP Intake form.
