SNAP Program – Double Up Food Bucks

The Double Up Food Bucks program is a state initiative where SNAP recipients receive a dollar for dollar match on purchases of fresh food up to $20 per day. The City of Rochester is contributing $880,000 which came from a pool of COVID relief funds which is funding a pilot that includes frozen produce to be included as eligible products with a match of up to $5 per day. The program is available at dozens of locations around Rochester including FoodLink’s curbside markets and some Tops Friendly Markets. A map of participating locations can be found at this link:
