We need your help!

|

Friends! On behalf of Causewave Community Partners, Trillium Health, the NYS Human Rights Division, the Rochester YWCA, and the Levine Center To End Hate, we (really) need your help.

According to our recent, city-wide STATE OF HATE IN ROCHESTER survey efforts, of over 350 respondents

  • only 30 are Black/African American
  • only 15 are Hispanic
  • 15 identify as Asian
  • 4 identify as an immigrant or refugee
  • 83 are men
  • and only 4 identify as Muslim.

We are asking YOU to help share this survey so that EVERY community’s experiences with hate and bias in Rochester can be fairly and accurately represented. In order to be represented, though, at least 100 people from each demographic must take the survey.

The Survey is available in Spanish and Chinese, and will be available in Arabic, Hindu, and Punjabi next week. If you believe any of these might be useful in your community, please do not hesitate to reach out so that we can deliver postcards with links/QR codes to the translation you require.

Thank you so much for your help with collecting this timely and necessary data. We will be widely sharing the results in late April so that partner orgs can use it to better inform their programming and community’s needs.
