Housing Stability Director & Case Manager at Thurston Village Spiritus Christi Prison Outreach (SCPO) is a standout organization that believes in the inherent goodness of every person and the impact that a sense of belonging can have. We envision a safe, healthy, and equitable community with abundant opportunities for all. We empower individuals who are justice-involved and homeless by providing stable housing, life skills, connections to treatment services, and a supportive community.
Your caseload in this position will consist of 20 apartments with residents that are part of the Permanent Supportive Housing Program. In your on-site office, you will provide case management to individuals and some families living in the apartments. You will have the extraordinary opportunity to engage with residents from our transitional housing programs – at Nielsen House and Jennifer House – who are exploring permanent housing options near the completion of their stays in either house. You will work with colleagues who oversee similar programs in other Rochester apartment buildings—a model that creates a community of support for you and the client that ensures long-term success.
If you value restorative practice, believe everyone is worthy of hospitality, and want to tap into the resilience of others, this position may be a great fit for you.
SCPO values lived experience. People from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
