The McKinney Ventoi Assistance Act provided legislation to ensure that continued school enrollment for students at their temporary address. Every school district in NYS must appoint a person (homeless liaison) to coorinate services for these studentsas well as arocess to identify them. Go to the NYS TEACHES website for more information.
