OMH has recently streamlined the process for eligible individuals receiving OMH-supported services to apply for the New York State Access Pass (more information below). For eligible individuals in our community, this benefit can help make outdoor recreation and cultural experiences more accessible. Here in Monroe County, that could include visits to Hamlin Beach State Park, Irondequoit Bay State Marine Park, and other nearby state parks, historic sites, and recreational areas. Access to places like these can support wellness, recovery, overall health, and quality time with family and friends.
